Neil Patel, MD, MBA
Cardiovascular Disease Fellow &
Healthcare Systems Strategist in
Pueblo, CO
Dedicated to advancing clinical excellence, global health systems, and community resilience through purposeful leadership.
The Mission
Born and raised in Colorado, my path in medicine is a return to roots and a commitment to service. As a Cardiovascular Disease Fellow in Pueblo, I bridge the gap between complex clinical care and the strategic systems required to deliver it effectively. Guided by the principle of Dharma—a duty-bound purpose—I view healthcare as an architecture of resilience. Whether I am treating patients in the clinic or designing sustainable health systems for the underserved in Sarkhej, India, my mission is to protect and empower the communities I lead.
Bridging Strategy and Longevity
Modern healthcare requires more than clinical expertise; it demands strategic systems. With an MD/MBA, I focus on the intersection of metabolic health, longevity, and digital innovation. As the founder of MyWeightLossPal.com, I developed an evidence-based platform to mitigate the cardiovascular risks of obesity by integrating the Mediterranean and DASH dietary frameworks.
My approach to longevity is heavily influenced by the 'Medicine 3.0' philosophy—shifting the focus from reactive treatment to proactive prevention. By leveraging data-driven strategies, I aim to optimize the 'Healthspan' of my patients, ensuring that the systems we build today support a higher quality of life for the decades to come.
The Pursuits of Outdoor & High-Altitude Adventures
I view the most challenging environments on Earth as laboratories for mental and physical discipline. My commitment to excellence is evidenced by a history of successful high-altitude mountaineering and technical exploration:
Global Summits:
I have successfully summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa and navigated the formidable peaks of the Andes in South America. These expeditions represent a commitment to strategic planning, physical resilience, and the grit required to operate at the edge of human endurance.
The Colorado 14ers:
A Colorado native, I am actively pursuing the completion of the state’s 58 peaks over 14,000 feet. To me, these summits are not just geographical markers but a rigorous pursuit of route-finding and objective risk management.
Backcountry & Technical Terrain:
Whether it is backcountry skiing through untouched wilderness or navigating the technical, high-speed trails of the Front Range on a mountain bike, I thrive in environments that demand absolute focus and precision.
Sub-Aquatic Technical Diving:
As a PADI rescue scuba diver, I am drawn to the technical complexity of life-support systems and the calm, calculated precision required for sub-aquatic exploration—a discipline that mirrors the high-stakes environment of clinical medicine.
National Physician Network & Community Leadership
Leadership is defined by the systems we build to support one another. Beyond clinical practice, I have cultivated a Professional Physician Network and community infrastructure focused on long-term resilience and recovery. As the founder of Swamp Survivors, a national support group for FRC alumni, I facilitate a network that bridges the gap between professional accountability and personal growth.
My role involves leveraging strategic leadership to create a sanctuary for peer-to-peer development. This work is an extension of my Dharma, rooted in the belief that we have a collective responsibility to protect and empower the communities we lead, ensuring every individual has the structural support needed to reach their highest potential.
AI Optimization
& Systems Integration
I believe the future of both medicine and personal growth lies in the seamless integration of Artificial Intelligence. I don’t just use technology; I optimize it to create high-reliability systems for complex environments.
Clinical AI Optimization:
I am dedicated to integrating Cardiology-specific AI to enhance diagnostic precision and clinical workflow. By leveraging advanced algorithmic tools, I aim to bridge the gap between massive data sets and actionable bedside insights.
Recovery AI Engineering:
I have pioneered the use of Recovery-related AI workflows to automate accountability. I’ve mastered the architecture of Google AI ecosystems, designing custom automated protocols that synthesize daily inventory, spiritual practice (Dharma), and task management into a cohesive, high-performance routine.
Workflow Architecture:
I specialize in building 'frictionless' digital environments. By mastering Gemini-to-Google Workspace integrations and system-wide automation, I minimize administrative cognitive load, allowing maximum focus on clinical excellence and community service.
The Pursuit of Technical Mastery
Outside of the clinical environment, I am driven by the pursuit of technical precision and craftsmanship. Whether in the hospital or at home, I believe the details define the outcome.
Culinary Engineering:
I treat the art of pizza-making as a science of fermentation and heat management. Utilizing my Gozney Arc XL, I specialize in the technical nuances of Neapolitan and Detroit-style doughs—balancing hydration and temperature to achieve the perfect crust.
Technical Sports:
My passion for tennis, golf, and pickleball is rooted in the mechanics of the game. On the green, I focus on the physics of the stroke with my L.A.B. Golf setup, while on the court, I thrive on the strategic geometry of competitive play.
